We have introduced 4 new brands this season: Kids Ink, a Californian based brand who produce great printed clothes ZPM, which produce fabulous changing mats, wash bags, aprons and bibs, Bipi Stuff's Drybibs, who produce super absorbent bibs, ideal for teething and Gotta Smile hats, which are fun sun hats, with profits going to a local African community.

At Charlie Barley we ran a competion to 'Name the Monkey' and the best name would keep him or her. Congratulations to Jessica Anderson from Brighton who chose the name 'Mango Monkey'. We thought it was great - the monkey goes to her!

Charlie Barley was runner-up for the Drapers award for Best Independent UK Kidswear Retailer in 2008.

Charlotte featured in the Argus - Brighton's local newspaper. The article discussed business rates and how many businesses where paying too much. Charlotte helped save over £50,000 for street traders in Meeting House Lane.

Well done and thank you to everyone who made the Charlie Barley Fashion Show a great success, especially as it was raining!

£40 was rasied for the Rocking Horse Appeal and the article 'Young Fashion' was in the Argus's 7th December issue.
